1.4 16v AFH into Driver 1.3

I have both cars, so I have everything from the 6n and the golf shell

but i want to keep it injection and not go down the carb route as it's going to be a daily whore.

im going to run a 8p box
and fab up my own mounts to the engine.
mk1 golf alternator
top fill 1.5 rad or any other type?

then the loom s my biggest worry, cant i run the whole 6n loom for dash aswell as bay and literally run it for everythin, 6n clocks, dash, key etc etc?

im a noob to conversions so tell me whats what and ill be very happy!!

Thanks Matt.

ahf loom conversion is same as doing abf into mk1, with the immobilised ecu again its just liek mk3 golf with the separate immobiliser control box. quite a few threads on this already. just need to use the wiring diagrams to figure out what pin does what, see my sig.

adding the dash as well will make your life harder but its up to you! the trouble with using the entire loom and fusebox is that the fusebox on the polo is on the other side of the car, so the lengths all need faffing with, unless you can find a space for it on the driver side and drill holes for the looms to come thru.

personally i dont like the polo fuseboxes, they're like mk4 golf where everything is bundled together, its a step backwards from the CE2 fusebox in the 90spec mk2 and mk3 where everything is modular.

as i say its your call, whatever you feel most comfortable doing. the other thing to consider is if your car has the old ceramic fusebox you'll definitly want to bin it and replace with something newer, either CE1 mk1 fusebox and loom, ce2 or use the polo stuff
