02A 02J cable change

Converting to cable change box and wondering what you folks on here have done about the cable's,which ones to use corrado,lupo,mk4 golf etc and where to bring them into the engine bay,either through the bulkhead/firewall or beneath the tunnel above the exhaust any ideas welcome and pics even better 8)

Well mine's for track, so i brought them inside the car thro fire wall
just above the tunnel, got raddo cable's but a bit too long im going to look
into lupo cables to see if they will do. Also Raddo pedal fits
mk1 pedal box with a little mod

i put mine underneath, cut a hole in the floor so it sits at correct height below plastic interior cover to keep inside looking standard.

if you go 02J you wil also need the 02J tower and this is harder to work with the cable clutch set up due to clearance issues,

Thanks for the replys guys,just for a bit more info im using corrado pedal box and brake servo with hydraulic clutch so the gear selector tower wont be a problem.Also i have a passat TDI gearbox and was wondering if the diesel gearing would be better suited to a tuned G60 motor i do have the corrado box but im not sure on which would be best to use.
So if the corrado cables are a bit too long then i assume it would be better to run them the longest route possible? Or do i hunt down a set of used lupo cables that are a bit thin on the ground.
