You need travel in a car with the set-up you're considering first to get a really good feel. I've got a relatively cheap kit on mine (?200.00+ fitting) which is, shall we say firm.

Oh yeah, what happened to keeping her standard?

It all depends on two factors really. How much you have to spend and how much you value your comfort. I wanted a firmish setup and a moderate 300mm drop. I also didn't want to spend ?500.00 on it. I ended up getting my kit from Venom and at a fraction over ?200.00 plus fitting it was a bargain and I love it.

Basically it's usually only me in the car plus possibly the kids or a mate. The wife seldom comes in it and when she does I just avoid as many pot holes as I can to keep her quiet!

There are loads of places you can get a kit from but it's worth having a look at Venom as I found the service to be good.

One last thing, change the title of your post, I think a more obvious one will get you more responses.

you call 300mm drop moderate, i call it extreme. think maybe one too many zero,s.

Unfortunately you want comfort and low. the two dont really go together. low means no suspension travel means no comfort.

Whichever suspension you'll buy, you will always wonder what it would have been like to go with the other setup. So you might as well flick a coin, at this stage.

That's true but there's a lot to be said for sticking your bum in as many cars as possible and seeing how the suspension set up fells before you commit yourself.

If you want mate you can pop over to my gaff and I'll take you for a spin in mine, you're only up the road from me.

Failing that I'll make an attempt to get over to Ace again this month, no excuses as I have my 'new' wheels and the overheating is now sorted as well.

***KONI SSK ADJUSTABLE DAMPENING ***

these shocks should be comfort, ( KONI ADJUSTABLES )    ??????????

evan though its gona be 35mm ish, the shocks should keep it comfotable ????????????

IS THIS CORRECT???

i just spoke to my mechanic today and he says put normal 4 shocks and keep my springs….i dont know what to do.

Koni kit allows me to change all in the shocks area, all new with warranty

We all know the point of a lowering kit. It's simply there to make the car handle better around corners etc, the fact it looks better is just a nice addition. All it does is prevent roll and pitch etc. o do so it has to be stiffer, there's no getting away from the fact. You will not find a lowering kit that rides as comfortably as a standard OEM set up, it just doesn't follow.

At the end of the day buy the one you want and get it fitted. If you don't like it get some standard shocks and stick the Koni on ebay.

You're gonna have to stick your toe in at some stage and just live with the results.
