window removal

juat wondering what people think is a fair price to have all glass removed from a mk1 golf  then replaced week os so later

Cut the lot out = free
Buy new rubbers and refit your self = free + cost of seals.

All is easy except the screen.

I have all rubbers new in stock

Don't cut the seals, they all come out easily enough including the screen.

People who say the screen is difficult don't take the time to properly peel back the seal and push it over the lip of the shell (from the inside, out) all of the way around the screen.

I have removed and refitted all of the glass on my Mk1 by myself on more than one occasion and have never damaged a seal or broken the glass.

 

But 80% of the time the seals are shot and require replacing anyway.

My view is there old so fit new. might just be me that likes new parts
