down to only 2 mk1 gti cabbys, one which used to be my daily driver and one in resto ( still !! )
due to now having company car and what with all the weather , i havnt really driven my mk1, even though i taxed and tested her again this year only a few weeks ago ( they really should sort out the classic car tax fairly ! )
but after going on a 180 mile round trip, through some wicked country roads and a blast on the motorway this weekend, i realised why i love the mk1 so much and cant wait until i finish my project cabby, will miss my helios blue one as i will be selling her once the black one is finished

Yes, that feeling is great.

I often curse the car when something doesnt work, or fixing something is a difficult job, but then a quick blast down a twisty back road makes it all OK again.

I was going to sell mine, so fixed the few niggles for sale, had a quick drive to verify all was working right, but then just couldn't bring myself to sell it !
