Why do I do it!

I am craving for a mk1 again! This is my history of mk1's

Bought my 1st one - GTi cabriolet, sold it

Bought a black 1.1 a few month later. Did loads of work on it and made it mint. Got fed up and sold it

Few month later bought a mars red GTi. Did loads of work on it, spent loads of money. It looked awesome. Got fed up and sold it

I currently have a mk4 golf and I need a mk1 again! Why do I keep selling them for gods sake. I regret selling the red one now cos it was well nice

i know what you mean I'm like iv done it with two mk2s dam that name in these pages but iv got a mk1 cabby and iv done loads of work to it and spent 1000s and one day i was fitting an exhaust once it was on thats all it needed to run and the exhaust didn't fit and that was enough to send me over the edge and want rid.but if you have garage the best thing to do is just lock it up and not see it for a few weeks months just to build the enthusiasm up again and after a month or two you will be like a dog to a bone

why did you sell the last one?

because i had the car repainted in a very nice orange an had a aero style fuel filler cap fitted and two months after paint it started to crack round the cap and that sent me over the edge thought it was a crap car why did i spend so much money and for what. that was it after that didn't spend an other penny on it and it was a good solid car just need a touch up(or taking to an professional) that where i slipped up. if i had have just sat back and thought about it you never know

because i lost my job and could afford to run it/make it great again

so sad watching someone else drive your car away

i know what you mean fun that one of the last things you remember about your car is it driving up the street for the last time waving good buy

Danny I dunno why I sold it. I proper regret it now. You saw it at Edition after I done all the work to it. Looked awesome

But I am 100% getting another. Butlers does look cracking. Need to see if I can get the funds together for it. Got a mk4 to sell
