I've seen it plenty of times last year, in fact I think I ran against it once? (He beat me too, but only just). I think last year it was doing low 11s or high 10s, and has had a bit of an engine rework over the winter. There's been plenty of stuff posted about the car already, and there was a small feature in a national newspaper too.

what sort of times are you running with yours then paul?

 i remeber being told about it but i never got to see the artical about the car, it ran a 10.1 on saturday mornin….

is this the one that is supposed to be able to outrun/accelerate a bugatti veyron. (well that what my girlfriend said she read in sun newspaper about it haha)

That white MK1 and Grant Parkers green Mk1 both go quicker 0-60 than the Bugatti . Lost the plot which one is now the fastest Golf Mk1 on the planet ?

jordy has i belive rebuilt the engine on the rocco for sub 9 second runs brookster will know more

i really like the Grant Parkers green Mk1,the color is perfect for ladies like me…i hope markar and whatalotafun would post more pics soon…

These pics were taken yesterday [on route to York Raceway] mine is the white 20vt . Grant's beast did a 10.33 @ a terminal speed of 146 mph before retiring due to engine trouble . But still made it home under its own power .

That white car is sooo sweet mate!!
