What fastens here?

What goes on the b pillar three quarters of the way up? It's got two threaded holes about three inches apart

passenger grab handles?-assuming its a tintop. got a picture?

they go on on the same post as the front seat belts, slightly in front tho if you know what i mean

ah gotcha - on the door shut bit - theres meant to be black grommet things (without a centre hole) in there. There will be a couple on the door as well that line up with the pillar holes.  As to what they are for I dont know - always had grommets in them

you mean the black dots in this picture? Theyre the grommets I was on about:

over here in Canada, there were seat belts that you didn"t have to fasten. They wereattached to the door and swung out and you basically sat under the shoulderbelt. They called it a passive restraint system.

Yes there the ones, i take it they just need rubber bungs putting in as not used in the UK?

yup, and theres a couple on the door frame as well at the same height as these holes
