Btw wen I bought my car it never came with mk1 seats so I'm presuming I never had any fixings for the seats

The pin is on the rail for forward/backward, the lever pulls the pin out allowing it to slide forward or back and then picks up another hole :)

So that doesn't fix the seats down? Wat about the rears? How do they fix at the top? Cuz like on other cars they fix to the parcel shelf support area? Wat about with mk1 seats?

They're not exactly fixed down bud, the sliders hold them down kinda. You'll see, slide the slider in, guide the front runner part in and then that's literally it.

I can't remember the back fully, bolted at the back, and latched in to the supports, then there fixed to the footwell part. Best I can describe it.

Yeah it seems daunting, but it is literally easy in front of you pal ;)

Do the rears first too…

the fronts will only sort of go in one way, you will see they go on the slidderer then pin at the front. ve only done once but its easier when its all in front of you!

You will see two runner channels on your floor on both sides . Fit from the rear of the channel.  Line up the bracket s on the seat send slide forward . The front bracket will hit up against a lever . Moving the leavers until the front bracket slide into place . Then you need a small bolt which Will stop the seat falling outof the runners when being adjusted ….. easy when you see it. Any problems pm me

you need the white plastic clips for the back of the front seats
or they wobble like mad.the back seat bolts at the bottom and
clips in at the top (back rest)seat clips in through a pin on the
seat and bar on the body then back rest holds it in place.
