What alloys?

What were the usual 'factory' alloys that came with early nineties clippers?

Our '92 has steelies on it, which are fine, but I wondered if there was a better choice of genuine or original wheels to go under the bodykit arches?

Scala's keep coming to mind although I doubt they would be the ones.

Estorils were standard fit and look nice.

The polished estorils look great!!

The scalas look sweet as well. I don't like the Pirellis though. They look a bit mkII golf to me.

i have got a set of estorils sitting in my garage with caps  :wink: been there for a long time and need a refurb, i have already taken the laquer off, if you fancy a bit of rubbing and polishing make me an offer

Hi, my 89 clipper came with 13" steels as standard, with an outer clip in sort of wheel trim..

I beleive they were standard on clippers

Gl and GLI's had the Scala's (i think) and estorils were on Rivages

BBS RA`s look good on later cabs, estorils are nice too, gotta be a 15 inch wheel for a clipper or the wheel looks a bit lost in the arch…. like a pram :roll:

And iirc they were colour coded to the car
