weber carbs

need help boys ive got a 1.5 golf with weber carb n diaphragm is leaking. ive looked on ebay n thers no 36tlp repair kits even webcom dont av any in stock. but ive looked at all the 36 kits n all the diaphragms look the same just the gaskets 4 the carb r different, does any 1 know if they r actually the same, help appreciated cheers!

yeah saw that 1 but it only says peugeot, dint want 2 risk 40 quid n it be wrong 1 especially when all other kits r only about 15

It's the right one. The ad only states those Peugeot models because those cars were fitted with that Weber model from the factory. VWs were of course fitted with Pierburgs. But it's the carb model that is important here. If you've checked that you've got a 36tlp, then that is the carb rebuild kit for it.

hi guys thanks 4 the help but dint want to risk ebay. found a weber dealer in sheffield got me the original part 4 just less than a tenner, he does all work on weber carbs,
