Wanted Rivage

Does anyone know of anybody selling a Golf Rivage?

Have you seen this one on eBay?

Depends if y0u want a standard car.
The ebay 0ne is very remv0ed fr0m 0riginal spec.
N0t genuine interi0r, wheels etc etc. s0 w0uld c0st a fair bit in making it as Fact0ry spec.

pulls well it has a slight splutter between 1000rpm and 1500rpm which will need attention it still runs and drives perfect but its either the injecters or dizzy that needs attention it may even be the filler neck which has rust deposits which clog up the injecters its a common fault on these cars its just had a new rev cable it has half leather trim with the usual wear and tear inside the bonnet catch has broken so opening the bonnet is being done by a pair of mole grips for now the carpet and seats are mint.

Its a 150,000 car, s0 y0u expect smethings t0 d0 need attent0n. Hes had it six m0nths but n0t registered in his name th0ugh?

T0 me it's n0t a "Rivage" 0nly by the name 0n l0g b00k.
All the Characteristics are g0ne. Pr0per wheels, interi0r, lights etc.
Lets say y0u want it back t0 standard. Le Castelette wheels £300.00, interi0r if y0u want leather versi0n £500 plus sec0ndhand. Plus the 0ther bits that need s0rting.
S0 even after spending all that y0ur in f0r ar0und at least ant0her £1,200 perhaps. A 150,000 miler Rivage isn't g0ing t0 fetch £5,500 im0?

I wish I had spoken to you all before I bought mine from eBay supposed to be mint! Bought for £1800 and approx 3 grand later still going ! Not that the wife knows that though! Lol

 try hiding from your missus where you are spending money on when you own both a mk1 cab gti and mk2 jetta coupe

Why you hiding from my Mrs??   Actually scrap that I know full well why 

I viewed one in Preston last year, it was original and not a bad example.

I'll try find the guys number but from memory it had 140k on it, cloth interior on a J Reg and was very tidy and he wasnt asking silly money !
