look on the torrent sites….but its not small….its approx 2gig!!!

works well for older cars, but if you want newer stuff from 2003 or so on then vag cats no good  

So if I download it does it include all the item numbers of the mk1 (even if they have been removed from vagcat)?

yes, and it will also say when vw dropped them and if they were replaced with a new part number or not, but it wont be bang up to date as getting hold of the updates isnt easy.

older version of etka is whats needed if you want to see dropped parts, version 7 has a fair few parts removed.  or both, as then you can see old part numbers, and new part numbers

yeah but if its not there you know vw have dropped it with out replacement  

yeah but sometimes its still usefull to know the number as you can then look this up on ebay/google etc
