vr6 mounting

hello all just a Q i would liked answerd the vr6 engine can you get that to fit in a mk1 golf buy using the engine mounts or do you have to have the hole subframe sunk into the mk1.

Ive just finished a VR swap in my mk1.
I used rear and batt side o2a mounts, slightly modified front with crossmember bar and an mk4 mount on the other side.

that looks mint did you use the vr6 gearbox or can you use a 02a box what size were the drive shafts. what will yours be runnig bhp wise???

You have to use the 02a or 02j box.
Drive shafts are stock 100mm and the US driver's side one has been slightly shortened.

No idea on power really. Right now its mostly stock. Ive deleted the AC and PS. Also deleted the Cat and have a straight thru exhaust.
Ive just got it on the road a few weeks ago so just enjoying it as is for now.
