valuation help please

My neighbour has asked me if i was interested in his mk1(which ive had my eye on since i moved in) its a lhasa green y plate original 76k!!! with ronal turbo 2's and performance exhaust and sports suspension kit, has all original parts including the mintest set of nine spokes i have ever seen including spare,
 surface bubble of corrosion but proper checked out and nothing to worry about,  downside is original full tintop but some pleb before has put a glass sunroof in, and bottom end is noisy(that does'nt really concern me though easy fixed) always looked after under custom cover in the drive etc etc so what do you reckon its worth a?? then illl tell you what i reckon i can buy it for!

Does it have tax & MoT? Is it road legal, or has it been stood a while?

been stood for around a month, yeah has some mot but no tax.
