Benn rubbing my bl**dy hood down with rags and thinners. This may sound insane but whoever has owned it in the past thught it would be a good idea to paint it with some kind of sticky goo.

Since Ive bought the car Ive wondered how a white hood can become so dirty is certain areas and so clean in others, so today I set about it with some kinda harsh cleaning solution I have. It brought alot of the dirt off the surface but it was no where near right. I waited until it had dried off and went to touch the hood, my hand nearlt stuck to it. After closer inspection I realised it must have been some kind of vinyl paint or who knows???

I set about it with thinners and it has come up much better but not quite 100%, so tomorrow I will give it another once over and make sure ive got rid of all the sticky areas. If I dont it will just attract and hold all the grime.

well worth it though, we'll see i8f im saying that tomorrow. I might goto the unit and find my roof in apuddle on the floor with the thinners.  

Once again I've had a very funny day - sitting in a large countryside surgery, in a back office and clinic area, scratching my head and trying to fix something that should work, but inexplicably doesn't. The joys of the N3!

Yep, thats the one. You have a high cost connection and your 'stuff' goes into a funny cloud, and you have to trust someone else a long way away at the other end that the 'stuff' for the real internet, reaches the real internet (certain sites use web-centric software). When that software inexplicably doesn't work, whose fault is it? And how do you fix it? Etc etc
