Thinking of selling, any ideas how much?

Thinking of selling my beloved little Golf - baby is on the way so we need the room and don't think we'll be able to use the Golf very much!  I'd rather she got used by someone than sat idle in the garage.

So question is, any ideas how much I should advertise at?

Shes an Inka blue 1991 Golf GTI cabriolet, 94k on the clock.  MOT till November, tax through to September.  Service history, recent new mohair roof, front brakes and clutch (along with lots of other little bits and bobs).  Standard condition (except for some M3 style back lights).  All works, including rear heated screen and computer.

Overall, I'd say good condition, not A1 but no rust, just the odd bump mark.  It was my next job to get her a nice new paint job!

So, what do you think?  How much should I advertise for?

Thanks for your help

Best thing to do mate is to browse through the hundreds of these 'how much' posts and get an idea, or even look through the classifieds on here, autotrader and fleabay, see what they are fetching then stick yours in where you feel its worth going..

Its only worth whats someones prepared to pay for it, so i could start the ball rolling and offer you ?250 but then thats what you'd want for it..

so my idea to you is stick it on ebay with a 99p start, load up the listing with as much info as you can, make it look really good, then stick a reserve on your listing at whatever you think you'll be comfortable in accepting for your car..

then if your reserve is reached, bonus, sold and you've got enough money, if it doesnt meet your reserve then at least you'll know what someone at that point in time is prepared to pay for it…
Then maybe wait till its warmer and the prices and demand for cabby's grows aagin and try again..

But if you really want help, then stick some pictures up, but going on all previous posts, anywhere between ?600 - ?3000..
