My mate had a nova sr years ago which was immaculate and it was a fantastic car to drive.

Sounds like your the same as me, i was only going to refurb the wheels on mine when i bought it but ended up spending thousands on it restoring it lol

my first car was nearly a nova sr.. thank god i found a £500 mk1 golf driver, i would have hated to look back on my formative years as a vauxhall enthusiast..

Oh dear looks nice aswell though. At the right price you'd suit a nova ;)

I'm just a car enthusiast with the mk1 at the top of my list. I seem to spend more time building my mate's cars than i do mine. I've owned two novas when i was a lad and my mate picked one up last week so we can do a build on it and i'm lovin it. So cabbybrad you like the 2x4 holding the intercooler up look lol.

Yeah that's what i thought just left with a nova they have a bad rep but most of them have rotted away now because no one wants to retore them.
For a massed produced car they are very rare now in good condition. He picked up an 1984 one owner in a retro green colour for peanuts we are going to respray it and keep it standard which the nova boys can't seem to do

It could be quite a lucrative swap, Nova values are on the up. Give it a few years and I reckon clean, stock examples of the Sporty models will be worth a lot.

I don't think they have the same negative stigma they used to, I think the Saxo and Corsahave taken it.

also like Nova's and agree they might be worth a fewquid in a while BUT

your dosnt look too far away from being done does it?

try and stick with it, you will love it once its all done :-)
