Testing the water - Mk1 Golf illustrations
It's been a while since I've been on here, but still my heart belongs to the mk1 - won't be long til I get one again. Until I do get my hands on one though I've been looking at creating some illustrations and prints of mk1 gtis - looking to produce the full colour range, various angles, cabs, etc.
I have had a practice run on a friends Nissan Figaro (i know, I know) but let me know what you think…
Would anyone be interested in Golf versions of these? I am considering illustrating, printing and framing a load and selling them at VW shows. What do people think? Price suggestions? Sizes will vary. Is there anyone else doing these? (Don't want to tread on toes).
Would be great to hear your feedback guys.
Cheers

Just had a request on one already so it's good people are interested.
Price wise Im guessing between 20-50 quid depending on sizes and frame quality. Ideally, i'd frame them up with a quality deep frame, but also offer them unframed at £10-20 mark. A custom one with your own detailing and alloys, etc would require a bespoke cost so if you want it personalised get in touch.
T-shirts are a good shout too, just been pricing those up.
Hopefully, I'll have a load ready for the All Types VW Show at Bodelwyddan Castle. Will keep you posted on availability.
Cheers

Finally got round to getting my first VW illy done. I'm going to get a load printed (mk1 gti campaigns, beetles and campers) for the VW All types show next month.
I will be selling them unframed to keep the cost down. They will be high quality A3 prints. I'm considering pricing them at £20-30 and will be supplied in a postal tube.
What do people think?? Tshirts may also be a possibilty, but as It's my first go I make stick to the prints for now and see the response.
Cheers
