Tailpipe pictures please

I've got a standard exhaust on the GTI and I'm thinking of getting an aftermarket stainless system.

There are quite a few different tailpipe designs and I'm undecided on what works best, has anyone got any pictures of theirs?

I've seen a 3" round tailpipe but I think it may be too big for the proportions of the Golf, I don't want to be a boyracer!

Cheers,
Gav

Cheers mate, just had a look and it looks quite nice, the tailpipe is 80mm though, which is roughly 3"…I wonder what it looks like fitted?

I've spotted this pic of Saf's on the for sale section and I like the outward rolled lip, but how big is that? 4"?

you may be after the OMP exhaust…?

Just had a look at the OMP one John, that looks good too, but 45mm seems a bit on the small side? I think about 2.5"/65mm will look good, I'm not 100% on 3" though, but I've seen a few second hand ones that are 3" and a bit more easy on the wallet!

I know the ones you mean fleming, are they called supersport group A? or something like that?

That looks really nice on that car Dom, but it's a bit too subtle for me, diameters not far from what I've got and I couldn't justify spending so much for such a little change - appearance wise at least.

Anyone got a 2.5" rolled lip? and a 3" rolled lip pictured on their car?

What's the point of having the tailpipe a larger diameter than the main pipework?

They only do them for the 1.5 upwards mines a 1.3. I dont want it to be like the one on my 206 a whole lot of noise and not going anywhere, just want it to suit the car
