Standard suspension slightly nose up?

Is it my imagination, or does a mk1 with standard suspension have a slightly nose up stance (slightly higher at the front)?

I just noticed this on a few pics of standard cars in mags and online.  Maybe just be me or my wonky eyes of course

How did you sort it peeriehutchie as mine is the same but always put it down to lower rear springs (or knackered ones).

I had this with mine too, I sorted mine using Mk2/3 Polo front spring top caps, they're about 20mm shorter than the Mk1 Golf ones.

Found this out when I replaced the strut inserts on my Mk2 Polo. 8)

It's not just standard suspension.

I've got a matching set of -40mm springs and shocks (Boge, naff IMO) and many have asked if it's lower at the rear - just one of those things I suppose.
