SPRAYING MY MK1 ..........

Hey folks Happy Easter to you all …….. I have a problem and wondered if anyone could give me there advice …

I'm Spraying my MK1 and wanted to know what the MK1 GOD's thought if I was to spray the car in MARS RED with a MATT BLACK ROOF ?????

This is now bugging me as i have been wondering and pondering for the last 3 weeks weather or not to do it but i decided to let the experts decide so come on folks what ya think ????

Have you seen another golf with this done?  If not post a picture up and i'm sure somebody will do you a great photoshop if you ask nicely.  At the end of the day it is your car and not anybody elses, so if you like it go for it.

Ive seen a mars red golf with a gloss black roof. Looked ok but black roofs suit modern cars better as they have flat gutters instead of rails. It just divides it better.

would look better if it was a gloss black roof. dont think matt goes with mars red tbh.

I would'nt but if you must gloss will be better.

Spray it red then matt black vinyl it you can take it off if it looks crud!

as above, worth trying to see but easy to paint back red if looks naff
