I would suggest something like alpine type r component speakers or infinity comp components run off an amp, this way you won't need to change the head unit and speakers like these have a hood sized magnet which when used with an appropriate amp should provide a nice controlled sound with good bass notes and good clarity! Mutant do good budget amps- get a 4 channel amp so you can run 2 sets of speakers- front and rear, however beware- with speakers and amps you get what you pay for sound quality wise!!
Hope this helps!

If you can some 20cm components then that would provide best sound quality however it will mean getting some adaptor cups as I think as standard your car will probably take 13cm speakers- these will sound good if you get some good ones bu a 20 cm cone will be best! Alpine type r can be expensive but you can get some good second hand ones- also look at the alpine type s speakers- these are the year before type r rebranded so still sound good and are cheaper! I have both 20cm type r and infinitys in my cars and my bro has the type s and type r- all sound great! Jbl are also good- as well as there amps to be fair! U

No idea about speakers in the rear of cabbies I'm affraid- you should be able to get speaker pods or cups for there from some where and as far As I'm aware the speakers in the front should be 13cm ones but there are
plenty of adaptor pods out there for fitting 20cm ones instead!
