Slightly concerned

I had 20p in the dash, just in front of that piece of perspex that covers up the speedos.

I went to take the 20p out.

I dropped it onto the steering wheel.

It then slid down the steering wheel shaft (right word?).

It's now lost in there, somewhere.

Will all my steering lock up at some random point, then I crash and burn?

No need to worry at all.

Only about 2 percent of serious car crashes result in fires at all, with many not being significant.

You won't burn, stop being silly. :wink:

No I believe there to be a significant percent of you actually bursting into flames after a crash!!!

As to 20p causing your steering to lock up, I doubt it very much, its probably slid down a little and into the dash area and fell off the steering column…

Dubstar, spontaneous combustion can happen at the most random of times.

Lawsy, thanks.  I'll try and find it sometime, if I work out how to open it up.. re. the flames, you should watch more Simpsons.

maybe if you lost a jubelee clip and a screwdriver and a load of lapping paste with cat litter and a jug of oil

that might be something to worry about
