series 1 rear panel BBT!!!

I know pattern parts aren't always the best but am in desperate need of a small light rear panel for a repair.. These are obviously as rare as rocking horse daffodill……
Big Boys Toys do a repair panel that goes just past the bottom of the rear lights which is what i need and its only 58 hard earned quid.
Has anyone had or fitted one of these and whats the quality like as getting all my panels in the next couple of weeks and this would save me some hassle if its any good.. :dontknow:

I haven't had a rear panel but I have had a BBT front panel and I have to say the fitment was spot on.  PM James V on here as he works for them, he will only sell you a strait honest panel.

Hi Stu,

Lee notified me of this topic so I thought I'd help out if i could, generally speaking all of our repair panels are pretty good, we tend to have a mentality where if something is not good enough to fit to one of our own cars, we won't sell it, we're all enthusiasts at BBT, I own a Mk1 Cab, and a Mk2 GTI, Andy owned a Mk1 up til recently and still has a Mk1 Polo, and Anna runs a Mk2 VR6, so we understand what people want. I'm off work this week due to getting married on the 25th, so your best bet is to contact Andy if you have any questions. (AndyBBT is his username), don't forget we do a discount for MK1OC members and all web orders over £50 come with free carriage.

Hopefully that helps out ;)

the plan had been to have my Mk1 ready, alas it's not so, but I've got a '66 Splitscreen sorted (provided it comes out the bodyshop on time) for the missus and her family, and a Ferrari for me and my best man ;)
