Saved a little bit of cash - what to spend it on?
Once all my invoices are in I should have about ?580 to spend on the golf, not much I know, but I have a few options on what to spend it on, as I think Hermann deserves some attention.
Should I:
a) Spend it on Coilovers & general front end rebuild goodies
b) Spend it on a nice new exhaust & fanimold?
c) Spend it on the little bits of bodywork the car needs?
d) Save it and put it towards the bodywork, along with a respray, at a later date?
Can't decide. I know d is the responsible option, but meh :dontknow:
Other ideas more than welcome

exhaust!!!!! all shinney pretty and possibly making him a bit quicker! DO IIIITTTT!!!! bodywork theres no point worrying about until you can afford the whole shebang!
alternatively save it and spend it on your other half! buy something nice for them and get something nice in return

Yup, I'm thinking along these lines, probably option D. Though I have had another non-vehicle related idea, which if it works may leave me with more dollar than I started with*. But all it's done has confuse me more.
The coilovers I wanted appear to have gone up in price too, which is an arse :x

Cool, I'll do some investigation 8)
I was gonna splash out and get some FK Konigsports for the damping adjustable loveliness, as I don't think I'd get my girlfriend anywhere near the car with bone jarring hottuning jobbies, which would be the other cheap alternative

Have a go in a car with coilovers - I was not impressed and could not live with it on the roads. Track fine, but not the roads.
I'd repair a bit of the body work and get a nice stainless exhaust with a good sound. Then you'll have a more solid car, and exhaust that you will never have to worry about, and every time you get in it you will love it more when you plant your foot - even if it doesn't actually make it go faster.
Eiback springs and koni adj shocks if and when the budget stretches.
But it is your chioce at the end of the day………..
Enjoy.
