ROOF HYDROLICS

this is my first post i have just bought a nice little mk1 clipper it has the bracket and switch for an utomatic roof but no pump or rams what i want to know is can i use a substitute pump and do i need a ram on both sides any help on renstating this articials or pictures any on has or could tell where to look would be greatfull

Breaking a Rivage in next couple of weeks which has full powered roof with hydraylics, relays switch etc.
