Recommendations for new roof and rear screen

Hi

Sorry; I think I put this post in the wrong catorgory last time I am very new to the site.

I have recently purchased a 1989 Golf Clipper which is in good condition with only 47K miles and full dealer service history. The roof however leaks and I would like to fit a new one. On closer inspection the rear window frame is also corroded so I would like to replace this as well.

I would like to keep the car a close to original as possible so would like to fit a plastic roof.

I would welcome any good recommendations of companies who can fit a new outer skin on the roof in the Yorkshire area also any good places to source a new rear frame.

what colour is it? personally i would go for mohair all the time….

but thats just me

The car is metalic blu with a grey roof the reason for thinking plastic was just for keeping the orig spec.

ah fair enough.... seen a few with black roofs but understand the plastic lovers out there.... personal taste mate
