re-spray thoughts
Please keep this on topic.
My car is going in for a full respray near the end of the year.
Im starting to wish I never bought a black car now, so mush so im not keen on getting it painted black.
Now I had an idea,
I thought maybe a cream colour may be nice…
or a Red colour like the red cabbies you can get.
Sensible thoughts appreciated.

Colour changing a car is a very labour intensive job, everything and i mean everything has to be stripped off or unbolted for it to resemble even a 1/2 decent job, just think, door shuts, engine bay 8O , boot space 8O such a tricky job to prep and finish its ok if your doing a full resto starting with a bare shell
original looking cars in original colours always make the best re sale money imo
why dont you like the black?
black cabbies are probably the least common of them all, as all the ones i ever seem to see are the sportlines

i think its just because it gets dirty so easily.
i may keep it black, just hate cleaning it like twice a week!
its having a full job, the engine is coming out, roof off interor out etc.
no mucking about.

Nath, it'd be cheaper to sell it and buy one in the colour you want… lol
My trouble is a hate washing cars so no matter what i have it ends up grey n dirty, so that why a silver ones just arrived.. lol
As to colour of cabby, if your going to hassle of changing,t hen go with something not normally seen, you know what Wendy's suggestion will be Purple n Black
Personally tho I think yours looks sweet, I'd keep the black, but I'd have subtle hints of colour in places

I like the black, but something different would be good…… black with a hint of something maybe.
