PUW 290Y anyone know where it is?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows the where my first golf gti is now?
I bought it in 95 and stupidly sold it to a mate in 96 who part ex'd it in for bugger all later that year.

 The reg is PUW 290Y

It was white and standard apart from being lowered a bit, I've been on dvla's website recently and it says its still roadtaxed,

I'm not after buying it ( unless v.v.v. cheap), just interested to see what state its in etc

How bizarre my mk1 reg is PUW 244Y. Very close must have been from same original dealer at bout the same time

Its quite mad that, nice golf by the way.
