My heaters are too hot! I get bloody roasting in the cabby, and it was near enough the same in my old tin-top.
I think it varies from car to car, but it's worth bleeding the cooling system through as the heater matrix tends to be where the system gets airlock = cold heaters.
BTW cool picture Rivage1991. Brrrr 8)

Well the heater in mine will have you sweating within five minutes with the roof down in the middle of Nov doing 70mph(ish) down the A303.
All the golfs ive had have had great heaters in them.
One idea ive had is to plumb from the ducts under the dash round to the headrest to create a windsock to heat the back of the neck but ive not had time to get to fabbing anything yet. I plan to do it soon so watch this space.

Ooo that sounds like a cool idea.
My heaters are bloody good too! Only problem is even if the temp is set to hot the main vents still blow out cold air whilst the others are blowing hot!. Simple solution, shut off the main vents and select the air to blow at screen and feet, toasty!

I already have an idea of how to hide it all away but im not gonna let all of my tricks out of the bag yet just in case someone beats me to it.
The height restriction shouldnt be much of a problem as a lot of the cabby owners on here are lofty and they dont complain.

Thanks Gav, it is a very cool picture for obvious reasons! lol
I use the mk1 at weekends all year round, no problems.
Well apart from having to shift snow off it (see picture) Ha ha!
