ive bin so monumently thick its untrue. the love of my life pulled the rear view mirror off, its come apart at the ball joint. no problems i thought it will just click back in. which it did at the expense of my windscreen massive crack in it  .cant believe it only bought it friday.
does any one know how much im lookin at to replace and can any one reccomend somewhere near sheffield who could help?

been there done that one mate my other half cleaned my windscreen and pulled the mirror off causing a big crack to appear

Pay the excess on your insurance - 60 or 70? Not sure if it'll cover that sort of damage but mine does. A friend poured hot water on my windscreen to sort the ice and split it right down the middle. I phoned my insurance company and for ?60 - brand new screen!

your not alone there mate, done that but on my A4, told insurance company that a bird flew into it on the motorway, job done, ?50 excess and no damage on the no claims either….
plus autowindscreens came out and mended it on site as well

Pay the excess and get a top tint too.

It makes driving a bit more comfortable in low sun.

thanks for the advice, phoned insurance and there comin out to replace.?75 excess to pay and dont effect no claims, result and lesson learned !!
