powdercoat rear beam

has anyone got an opinion on powdercoating the rear beam ?? ive stripped it off with the idea of a rear caliper conversion it aint bad condition so could i get away with hamerite or is there a better advantage to powdercoating it ???

If you get it powder coated they will blast it first removing the rust
should stay good for years

just spent 2 weeks strippin mine of all the rust n crap, followed by 3 coats
of rust-oleum. it looks amazin but i guess im relyin on the quality of the
paint as to how long it stays that way!! i'll give it a good coat of wax oil once its put back on. we'll see how she goes  8)
