I believe a car has to have a full MOT to make the plate a saleable asset……something like that anyway

Thats a bugger, the plate is probably worth more than the car  

A dishonest person might get a similar car with an MOT and change the VIN/number plates, put it through an MOT and sell the plate.................

i was gonna get a cheap one and clean it up for the miss' but i think i will give this one a miss
