Plate next to vin plate

MK 1 GTi cabrio I have owned for 16 years,next to the VIN plate is another small plate same colour as car
with the numbers 351   8014 and then at the bottom wk19.
I have never noticed this plate on any other Golf so does any one know what the numbers refer to?

they all have them, on the tintops they hava a plate with a barcode on. What they are for i dont know?

on my cabby white edition it has a plate thats pop rivited next to the bonnet latch and numbers are 195 - 9580
No idea what its there for or if it means anything..  :roll:

Is it a serial number relating to karmann coach builders?
My beetle cab had a similar plate in addition to the vin plate.
