There you go.
Just go with whatever colour is closest to your car unless you have a colour theme that they could contrast with.

cheers for the pics mate
i spoke to you on ed38 a while ago about your car, forgot you had the samco
on ed38 it was said there was issues with fiiting, did you have any probs?
is that the full kit, both sections, coolant and vaccum?
did you have to get any additional hoses?

dubstar74 - Yep it is, but it's looking a lot sadder these days as it's been sat doing nothing for months, but it'll be shiney again soon
jason_gti - I lucked out and bought it with the hoses already fitted so couldn't tell you if there are issues with the supplied kits fitting, (fitted samco's to my mk2 and they were spot on but that doesn't help with your query).
It is a full kit though, pretty much every hose has been replaced.
Drop someone like Reuben @ Tuningwerkes a call as he's proven to be pretty helpful I know he had a mk1 himself, I'm sure he'd give you some accurate info on whether the kits fit straight out of the box or not.

thanks for your help
but i have more questions sorry
the kits i have found are, 5 coolant hoses, one of which is not for a mk1
and then the ancillery kit, a further 5 hoses
by the looks of it yours has had more than 10 hoses, was this acheived through buying lengths of pipe?
could i see some more pics of your bay please kamdeux

No Probs, heres a few shots from when the guy I bought it off got the original builder of it to take it out of his garage after almost 10yrs of being parked up.
And Shiney again.
There are a couple of pieces of hose I didn't get when I bought the car but I'll buy some lengths from Siliconehoses.com and cut them to what I need.
I'd take more shots for you but after it being sat on the driveway for so long I got fed up and we dragged it on Saturday am to get the leather Interior trim and buckets fitted, plus audio build done , I'm up there possibly this weekend so if you need some more shots I could take a few then.
Cheers

Cheers, I believe that they have been painted and lacquered, whoever did it did a quality job as over 10yrs later they still look good.

^ that bay looks very nice 8) and for above question re powder coating you cna only do metal objects using that tecnique due to the high heat needed to "bake" the powder to a shine, you can achieve good results on plastics with car paint as long as its prepped and primered with the right stuff
