Performance VW mag

I bought the performance VW mag this time around and there are THREE MK1 track cars in there!!!  Quite a good read and would recommend it this month… just letting you know… the motors look killer!!!!!  :mrgreen:

Yea they do look good I get it through my door every month but also if u have a iPhone or an iPad u can get the pvw app and get the latest issues free . I also brought golf+ yesterday but not had chance to read it there's a couple of mk1s in there..

Might have a look at that!!  Next months COTM is in Golf Driver in January I think so watch out for that one too!!  MK1's are being featured quite a lot lately love it!!!!

Is the golf+ one Decembers issue mate?

A don't no which ones was a saw the mk1 on the cover and brought , pvw did a mk1 golf edition or it was just full of them a few months back to that was a good one to..

I bought that too lol.  I only buy it for the mk1's… don't read the modern stuff really… bit of a waste of money but It's the only way to see what's going on out there mk1 wise I suppose  :dontknow: ….

They are simply awesome….. not sure about the guy in the midles very camp stance though lol

for all the people with smart phones theres a vw preformance app i have it on my i phone  :clap:

The quiet guy in the cap I have seen before up at Brands on a track day session a few years ago with a black mk2 G60 or 20v turbo conversion if I remember and a red mk1 also supercharged maybe same car as in the feature but without the modded arches. I remember in particular their Mk2 ripping pieces out of not just the Evos and Subbies but also a silver 992 porsche, Met blue Skyline GTR and on the home straight just wrecking a modded silver M3 in a straight drag. The best part was it was just him and his brother in the pit bay, with a stack of slicks; whilst all around the "monied" ones with the trailers, vans and mechanics etc shook their heads. Then they dialled up the boost on the black mk2 and everyone just moved to the right.

Last copy of PVW I bought was the june 1999 issue before being banned by the wife and it was'nt the cars she objected to, going to smuggle this one in though.

I mean to get a copy too.....

Dubster82 that sounds pure mean!!!  Wish I'd of seen that… retro modded VAG is class… especially seeing out out-run new metal…. I have to get me a 20v turbo in my mk1 when things get brighter money wise  :mrgreen:

Is the red one maurice reeves car? He had a seriously quick mk2 16v in the late 90's and he has had this some time too?

the one your describing sounds like the red reeves car before the serious crash when it had smaller arches, often seen at track days embarresing expensive cars.
