Pattern Wings

Can any one tell me wether or not Hadrian wings are a good fit
or do they need a lot of playing around with to make them fit.
Looking at replacing both front wings.Cheers

Hello mate, the bodyshop that did mine said the wings needed a lot of playing around to get to a decent looking final job.  They do look good, but you can tell the gaps are slightly bigger than they should be.  I'm sure they could be made better, just with hours more labour put in to it, which would of been mega bucks.  

On the plus side they were really impressed with the Hadrian Sills, although that's not much good to you.

Cheers for that, are there any pattern wings any one can recommend.

Check GPC (German Parts Company) near Luton, Beds.  I had a chat with the guy there in the week and he said the ones they sell are very good, decent quality metal (not like GSF rubbish) and don't need much (if any) fettling.

Has anybody else used the GPC wings?

I have an o/s GPC sourced wing on my car. I believe that he gets them from Germany. It took me about 3 hours to get it to fit, but it fits good. The wing rail washers are not on but you can just remove them from your old wing. Also the holes need slotting but all of the swage lines run through and where the wing meets the scuttle its a nice tight, level fit. In my opinion they are a better bet than Hadrians and are about the same price too. If you look at my build thread you can see what i had to do.

If u want my opinion,i would hold out for some 2nd hand genuine ones,some people want stupid money for them,like £100 each!!! But im sure r/h/s ones are still available for anound £70,they were a little while back but i may be wrong.I think £40-£50 is more realistic for genuine ones 2nd hand.

if you can get a set of veng wings they fit spot on

veng are a quality german make of panels used a lot by the aircoled lot. i just struck lucky when  i bought a pair from german and swedish

R/H/S is right hand side!! And they were available a little while back,u will have to check to see if this is still true!

the same as originals ie all holes where they should be and has anyone else used this make.

yes i fitted a pair, passenger side fitted perfect all holes lined up, panel gaps all perfect, drivers side a bit off but turns out shell was badly twisted so not really wings fault
