Kieran,

I like these sort of questions!  8)

I don't know the answer, sorry, but I like the question and look forward to seeing the outcome.

I'm sure there's a code that would've been used in the factory but can't imagine it would've ever been known to the general public. Does ETKA give any colour references to wheel finishes?

Even if you can pinpoint a code it's unlikely you will be able to get the mixing specs for it. Your best bet might be to colour match to a wheel that has its original finish, an unused/little used spare wheel would be best to reference from as it won't have UV fade.

This might be of interest too if you opt for powdercoating: RAL Color Chart | www.RALcolor.com

There will be paint codes available somewhere and I'm sure someone will have them.

After all, how would you know what colour code the paint is to your body work & other areas in need of repair.

I know the splitty is L512 upper, L289 lower and L82 for the wheels and bumpers.

It's matching these codes to current paint codes thats the issue.

If there is any paint left on them any vehicle paint supplier should be able to match what is there, take the wheel along.
