Original owner's manuals

I'm after a copy of the original Volkswagen owner's manual/handbook for my 1980 GTI. Any clues as to where I might be able to find one? I've had a quick look on eBay (UK) but no joy at the moment.

Your S1 should have the small style service booklet - check the mm/yy date on the back to match your car

Probably not after one now, but I have just found my old one from my old mk1, in amazing condition no rips or tears, with the vw dealership listings, and in the blue/clear plastic wallet.

Feel free to make me an offer as I'm having a big clearout of all old golf stuff I have and gonna stick everything on the dreaded ebay, as my Beetle stuff is gradually taking over and taking control

Sorry just read the last post, and he says you have a s1, my mk1 was a s2, so will probably be different fuseboxes etc
