ORIGINAL MARK ONE GOLF GTI MARS RED - VALUE?

An original mark one Golf GTI in mars red.

Milage approx 76,000

Owned for the last 12 years

Needs some tlc

Bodywork okay, Interior is good (it does have an aftermarket sunshie roof)

Was my fathers company car from new, he bought it off the national newspaper where he was the Motoring Editor, then after a few years gave it to his wife, who then passed it to me about 12 years ago.

Thinking about selling if the price is right.

If that is a V reg then it is a series 1 GTI on a documented 76K - if its in good condition it will be worth a fair amount! I have a V reg in mars red too
