Newbie Question- BHP

Ive had a little look on the site and i think ive got a rough idea of the answer to what im going to ask…

BUT..

im going to ask anyway  

The 87 cab i bought the other day is a 1.8gti dx series engine..does anyone know what BHP this is?

Also is there a webpage someone with standard stats on it e.g bhp, 0-60, etc etc?

Ah cool, thanks for the reply! what would make it 112 or 115? is there a slight difference in the engine or something?

I never knew that. Perhaps they gave floppys 3bhp more as heavier?!

Ha i had one of them but a 1.4 only for about a week was well slooooowww!

Yeah!! my mate has a new mini cooper that is dead even with my golf i was modding my golf and had it off the road took the mk4 to uni and had a little race hey absolutey destryed the mk4 i recon my 1.6 diesel caddy is faster!! no joke!!
