Hi all. My names simon and at the minute I own a mk2 GTI 8v that im doing a full nut and bolt on plus a mk4 show car thats getting the same. Ive now got the chance to buy a mk1 GTI thats had a small slap on the rear 1/4 for next to nothing. Clocks are reading 33.000 miles. But going tomorrow for a better look round it. I might need a a rear 1/4 can these be bought new along with a boot?

will get some tomorrow and of the damage. I dont really need another car but always wanted a mk1. Have a few bits sitting from the mk2 like 45 webbers, a 4 branch, RMs and so on. Kinda hope they might bolt straight on.

Where you at ,I'm up in Ballyclare  contact Ivortheengine he has a shell you might get a few bits off.
