New filler neck

Today i changed the fuel filler neck. When i took the old one off the end actually collapsed in a mess of rust ????  8O   8O  Changed just in time i think !!!!!  

Worth making sure you have no rust fallen into the petrol tank, especially if filler neck was that bad!!
