New cash = new roof!!! NOW WITH DODGY PICS

Right, it's the end of the financial year so I'm flush with interest, well it should cover it, just.

All I need now is a solid recommendation on a company to supply and fit my new hood.

Does anybody have any ideas of someone within the London area or that will travel within a reasonable distance? I don't mind going to them too if not too far.

I'm after decimating the remaining Mo population as it looks so much nicer so please if you have any images or recommendations let me know.

Thanks all.

when was shopping around did speak to soft tops and got a quote but carhoodsdirect.co.uk were ace. They might of been a 10er more expensive or so but they came out and fitted it. Ace job, no leakes and sits perfectly, very
seem some pics where people have had theirs done but look like it sits as good as mine…. :dontknow:

carhoodsdirect charged 365 to come out (they travelled a good hr+) all cables were inc in the price and there is a 1 yr warranty.

they used the old headliner and glass. If you want a new headliner it totals about 500.

Thanks fellas, been to the link and they look good. It would be nice if they had some examples online so I could see their work tho.

If anyone has an example of their work that they could post out that would be helpful.

I'll give them a ring in a mo and see what they quote me for a home fit.

I like both colours, dunno why, but the Burgandy one looks more classy for some reason

to be fair any colour roof looks good on a white car as its a great contrast, do they do a nice grey/silver? that might look good and tie in the interior and rims

I thought of grey but decided that it would look dirty all the time, you know what i mean. Besides a splash o colour would be nice and at least it would look like I had it done, you know a positive change.

yeah im deciding what colour to put on mine as it paprika red! it has a black monhair at the moment but as it had a respray wouldnt mine redoing mine! yeah saying that i do like burgandy with white but i think it depends on the colour of your interior as well! dont laugh at me!! When i had a grey roof i had a grey check interior and when i got my leather rivage interior i got a black mohair as i think it went well with the interior? if you know what i mean?

I agree, my interior is grey/black and I don't think the blue, even if it's a dark blue will go very well with it.

Edit:

Finally got through to them on the blower, they don't have any burgundy mohair in right now but are going to send me a sample in the post.

?380 fitted at my home doesn't sound bad either!

sounds like a decent price, especially for all the work involved! I think black or blue is still the "safe" option though mate

But like you say its individual choice, an expensive one if you get bored with he colour or its clashy though :dontknow:

They are quick I'll give 'em that! My sample arrived today and is a really nice colour. I think I've decided it's time to take a few 'before pics'

Definately burgy, that looks really smart with the white. For some reason not so keen on the blue on the white!Hope it comes out well!
