New Business, Need Opinions

Hello,
I am openning shop up or a new business in which I am going to be parting out VWs, BMWs, Opels, Skodas, Audis here in Hungary and selling the parts that will be in good and usable condition. Most of the cars I will be starting with is Golf 1s, Golf 2s, and Sciroccos as I have a couple that I will start parting out as soon as I have more space in my garage on the farm. I do not know how much of a demand there is for euro parts still but I will be offering MK1GolfOC community fist dibs on anything that would be desired in UK  and I will be willing to ship any parts wanted from wheels to heron cylinder heads. Would this be some of good interest and nature to share with the MK1GolfOC community?
As they are used pricing will be on point! Any opinion or input please share Thanks Stacson

im not sure how many euro parts are interchangeable with our cars etc, but if there is more availability of parts at good prices with quick delivery that will help keep our cars on the road then i think its a win win, best of luck and keep us updated

Well I would figure mostly body and motor part options with some interiour too. anything but dashboards cause UK is rhd and we are LHD but everything else is the same and I too want to contribute to keeping one of Europes motoring icons on the road and running. I get the parts for very cheap here mostly used but good consition and anything thats needs a little cleaning I will be doing this too. Since we are in the European Union I can keep shipping cost pretty low too as oppose to shipping to America. I am currently bulding a site but have a Facebook page built for anyone that has request for parts at them moment.

It would be a beaurocratic nightmare in the UK due to planning law and environmental impact but I've no idea how these things work in Hungary. If you're free of these things (or equivalents) then there is a viable business model here. I suspect postage and delivery time will be an issue, especially with larger items.

Shipping time wouldnt be them problem but if someone say the wanted an ABF motor then shipping would be more expensive than time consuming. Besides that on any normal items such as bumpers, door cards, grills, lights and items in that size and nature shipping time should not be horrible or bad as I have a great business account with DHL  . Any shipments geat an obvious tracking order and can supply insurance on them too!  

Hi mate, I was in Hungary for a week earlier in the year as a very close friend of mine is from Hungary  :wink:

While I was there I noticed the large ammount of VW's there including Mk1 Golfs and a couple of Jettas while in her home town so I assume there is a following in your area and I could see some of the trends from over here being attempted on a lot of the cars there.

Yea Golf 1 are very popular here and parts are very available for no matter series 1 or 2. I'm in progress of setting everything up at the moment and getting my sites together. If you have any inquires dont be afraid to ask as I can more or less find them for you.
