New 16V Grill Badge fitted ...

I bought this badge over the weekend having decided I needed to at least give a hint at whats under the bonnet. I had to modify the rear clips to get it to fit the Mk1 Grill but I reckon it looks like it belongs there…

What do you reckon??

Cheers

I was tempted to do the same myself but got fed up with sellers continuously misdescribing their badges on eBay, and now I've heard you need to modify the badge to make it fit properly into the grille, that's my mind made up! I'm sticking with the plain old GTI one! My bonnet pins give enough away in any case, of the "little monster" the car is.

Mods are easy to do with a dremel mate. Also the clips go outwards on the Mk2 badge as against up and down on the Mk1. You will also need a little help from our friends at arraldite!
