My swallowtail made me £100 today :)

My brother in-law is a car freak like me, however he only deals in top end cars and nothing below 05 reg.

Today my brother in-law was taking the out of my swallowtail (how dare he I hear you say?) stating that old thing needs weighing in and then offering to give me £500 take it off my hands and scrap it for fun! :twisted:

So after all this bult talking :evil: , He was convinced he could find a swallowtail on eBay for less then £300 and bet me £100cash ……….I smiled 8)   and took up the challenge….he searched high and low for 4 hours……….then came back to me (like a lost puppy) and handed me the cash!!!!

I then offered him a double or quits……….he stared 8O and said NO!! ha ha ha ha

£300 will barely get you a swallowtail bonnet
or other swallowtail parts for that matter

HAHA niceone! Man with half the 05 cars about I'd be scrapping them not the swallowtail.

Neighbour chick where we live calls our car a piece but everytime were driving it or even if it's stood parked in the road you see her staring at it drooling!! lmao 'S.I.M.P.L.E people' eh

you get to a certain point where "non mk1 believers" you off………they don't understand the patiences of a master piece or "the blood,sweat and tears" that go into classic cars…..hopefully I've shut him up for a while…so I can get on with my planning.

So what you gonna spend the 100 quid on eh?

I offered them to mark75 with the red swallowtail first, but he didn't get back to Alistair…so i brought them. Not sure what I'm doing with them yet.
