MY NEW WHEELS!!

Got these off the bay last week they BBS Mahle et 13, 2x 6x15 front and
2x 7x15" on the rear.


These wheels are exactly the same wheels you got on BMW E21's back in the day but the difference is the BMW one's were only 13".

I've only ever seen 15" one's on German ebay or German car sites? I've personally never seen another set in England? so to me they are pretty rare? if anyone has then please let me know.

They have 195/50/15 all round but Iwill need at 45 rubber to get good clearance and modify the arch's a bit to get em to fit, and I know that with an offset of et13 they are gonna be a bit wide normally, but the stance is perfect!!! will get some more pics once I get the longer wheel bolts and new tyres watch this space??

yep thats it - I was watching them but wrong offset for me - bargain tho all the same

They are a little wide but when I put them on, I reckon with smaller tyres and a litttle mod on the arches they'll look really good!!!

Good find those 8) , as for longer bolts for them, go to a mercedes dealer, early 90`s and late 80s mercs have the same thread as vw but the bolts are longer, just be carefull on the rears if the bolt is too long it can foul the drum and shoe assembly and un-adjust ya handbrake!!! and it makes an awfull noise to boot :cry: ,
 if your after 195 45 15 tyres try R-tec either on ebay or their web site, they are doing brand new yokohama S drives for ?35 each is a mega bargain as every where else i was quoted ?55 8O they are proper grippy and shexy looking tyres too 8)

you outbid me at the last minite :cry:  i beleive i weasnt quick enough to bid again look good though hope there worth it

but I I've been after a set of old skool BBS rims for ages, and I were'nt about to let these go  :wink:

Should look good after a polish on the rim and I'm not sure whether to keep the centres silver or change colour to Black or Gold???

i was really after some g60 bbs rims so i didnt bid to high but does look like you got a bargain

They look identical to my old 15" Alleycats which I had on my Datsun 240z. The Alleycats cost a small fortune in the 80s, but as you well know BBS are one step better :mrgreen:

i know of a good one for sale, its had one owner from new about 50,000 miles and a complete nut and bolt jobbey.

up for ?27,000 bargain or what

Its a blue one and ?20,000 overpriced a total rip off! and it's not as perect as the seller thinks-no names mentioned :wink:
