My MRS 'NEW BABY'

Picked up my partners new cabby on Tuesday,travelled to London from Cornwall there and back in day.
The new addition performed faultlessly,doing 75/80mph all the way back she used about 28quid in petrol is this good?
We have owned numerous dubs in the past,currently running a 86 t25 camper,95 golf tdi,and now the cabby.
Hope my pictures work,let me know what you all think<paid ?1000 for her,seemed a good price,bit of tidying to do,but new roof and absolutely loads of history,only 4 owners from new,ni on full vwsh,120k warranted miles.

mate nice car, its not been bas….ed its original, called a quartet edition 238 imported into uk in 87.
wheels are wrong but lovely, originally would be avus/scalas!

Bargain find!

Lovely looking car mate,where abouts are you in cornwall?As cab just said it would be nice to see you at our next get together,We have recently had our first meet at Smokey Joes Scorrier a couple of weeks back We will sort out another meet in the not to distant future.Nice to know there is another keen Mk1 fan in the Southwest.

WE ONLY LIVE IN CHACEWATER,ONLY A STONES THROW FROM SMOKEYS,BUT WERE BOTH WORKING,ON THE DAY OF THE LAST MEET.BUT,WE WILL DEFINATELY TRY TO MAKE THE NEXT ONE,WE ALSO OWN A VW CAMPER AND ATTEND NUMEROUS SHOWS,SO WELL USE TO VW SCENE.1st cabby we LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
